Thank you for visiting our website. In this privacy policy we would like to inform you in detail about the processing of your personal data in connection with the use of this website.
We attach great importance to the secure and confidential processing of your data, especially in view of the applicable legal Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of personal data (hereinafter GDPR), Act 110/2019 on the processing of personal data and other data protection regulations. In order to comply with these requirements as a data controller and to ensure the complete protection of your personal data, we have taken numerous technical and organizational measures.
In principle, you can visit this website without leaving us any personal data.
The processing of the personal data we obtain from you is carried out solely for the purposes set out below. Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless it is expedient, necessary and unavoidable; or unless you have given your express consent.
This privacy policy focuses on the processing of your personal data. It is the basis around which all data protection laws revolve. According to Article 4(1) of the GDPR, personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more specific characteristics. In this case, this includes, for example, a name, address, telephone number, email or IP address.

3. Collection and processing of data when visiting the website
When visiting our website, the internet browser used by the visitor automatically sends data to the server of this website and stores it for a limited period of time in a log file. The log files are technically necessary for us to be able to display the page you have called up. The legal basis for the storage of this data stems from Article 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR.
They are automatically deleted within 24 months after the page has been called up. Until the automatic deletion, these data are stored without further input from the visitor:
- Browser used (type and version)
- Time of page access
- Success or failure of the page request
- Visitor's operating system
- URL of the website from which you came to us (link URL)
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- IP address through which the access was made
In connection with your use of the website, the IP address of the computer you are using is recorded, among other things. Through the IP address it may be possible to identify the user of the website. However, we do not evaluate the recorded IP addresses for this purpose. IP addresses are evaluated exclusively on a statistical basis in an anonymous form.
When using our online services, your IP address may be passed on to the providers of online portals.
4. Customer portal
If you wish to use our customer portal to manage the consumption values of your housing units, you must register by entering an e-mail address, a name and a password of your choice. You must then add the dwelling units you wish to manage to your account and verify them by entering your system and device number or activation code. Providing the above information is mandatory, all other information can be provided voluntarily.
We use a so-called double verification procedure for registration, i.e. your registration is only completed after you have confirmed your registration by clicking on the link contained in the confirmation email sent to you for this purpose.
If you use our customer portal, we store your data required for the performance of the contract until you permanently delete your access. In addition, we keep the data you voluntarily provide for as long as you use the portal, unless you delete it beforehand. You can manage and modify all data in the protected customer area. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (1) (b) of the DGPR.
To prevent unauthorised access to your personal data by third parties, the connection is encrypted using TLS technology.
5. Matomo
We use Matomo, a service provided by InnoCraft Ltd, 7 Waterloo Quay PO625, 6140 Wellington, New Zealand, to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics collected allow us to improve our offerings and make them more interesting to you as a user. The legal basis for the use of Matomo is Article 6(1)(1)(a) EU-DSGVO.
For this evaluation, cookies are stored on your computer. We store the information collected in this way using the Matomo cloud service (location: Europe). You can set up the evaluation by deleting existing cookies and preventing the storage of cookies. If you prevent cookies from being stored, please note that you may not be able to fully use this website. Preventing the storage of cookies is possible through settings in your browser.
We use Matomo with the "AnonymizeIP" extension. This means that IP addresses are processed in a shortened form, which eliminates the possibility of direct personal references. The IP address transmitted by your browser via Matomo is not associated with other data collected by us.

6. Using Session-Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer system via your browser. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a string of characters by which websites and servers can be matched to the specific internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the websites and servers visited to distinguish the specific browser of the data subject from other internet browsers that contain other cookies. Through the unique cookie ID, a specific Internet browser can be recognised and identified. We set session cookies, that is, time-limited first-party cookies that are absolutely necessary for the entire use of the website. They store a so-called session ID with which different requests from your browser can be assigned to a common session. This allows your computer to recognise you when you return to the website. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. The legal basis for the use of these cookies is Article 6(1)(1)(f) of the GDPR, as they are technically necessary for the correct display of the website.

If you wish to take the opportunity to contact us, you may do so via the media listed on the website: telephone, mail, fax or email. What information and data you leave us in connection with contacting us is basically up to you.
Of course, we will only use the data you provide for the purpose for which you provided it. In the case of communication data, you also consent to us contacting you in this way for the purpose of handling your matter. The processing is therefore based on your voluntary consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(1)(a) GDPR.
The personal data collected for the purpose of communication will be irrevocably deleted once the request has been processed and there are no longer grounds for their further storage (e.g. subsequent order placement, conclusion of a contract, etc.). You can withdraw your consent at any time in the future.
